High School Sweethearts Reunited

________, our love is wise, not as juvenile as when we were 16, not as mature as it will be years from now. So my decision to share my life with you is one I make willingly and with complete faith in the love that brought us together again; a love that is strong and relentless. And although many years were lost to us, you should know I am in love with you as much today as when I let you go. I vowed when I found you I would never be separated from you again. I intend to keep that vow because I realize it has always been our destiny to be one in heart, mind, body and soul. I appreciate that you are the one true love God chose for me.

On this long awaited day, I promise to be with you, in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, as well as through the good times and the bad. I promise to love you without hesitation, comfort you in times of need, encourage you to be your best, laugh with you, cry with you, and grow older with you. I promise to always be open and honest with you, and to cherish you through whatever life may bring us.

It’s obvious all these sweethearts weren’t allowed to marry and really find each other until their teachers that were possibly raping them or the administration not letting them marry at the schools died and/or retired. I wonder if it’s connected to Alabama - where two people I know couldn’t get married at elementary school - and one of them kept having their parent tell them to kill herself and even tried hitting her with a car

I met her when she was just turned 13 and I was turning 15 . Instant thunderbolts and we had 16 months , then my parents moved 1500 miles west . I returned and tried to survive working as a 16 year old but failed after 6 months when i returned home. Then life went on and we each went other ways. I married and divorced after 23 years , at which time I searched the early internet for her 1998 to no avail. I married another and moved 800 miles south. At about the 4 year mark of my marriage (2004) I finally found her and we briefly connected though email , she too was married. but we had both always thought of each other and how we were fairing in life. Well my wife died in 2017 and a few month later she heard and sent her condolences .. we began talking and we are celebrating our 1st anniversary of being reunited on May 1 2020 .. It is magical
