Joseph, 5 years ago today I walked into your work and saw for the 1st time the man that I would eventually stand with in front of our family and friends and ask to my husband. Three days after that 1st meeting we had our 1st date, and that date has never really ended.
You and I being here is as much about us, as it is the people in our lives who have helped us get here.
All my life I have dreamt about having one person in my life that I felt completely accepted by, and that person is you. You lift me up when I am sad, share in my joy when I am happy, and comfort me when I need comforted. I am a better person with you in my life.

You have shown me more than anyone ever has what love is. Your kindness, never ending support and absolute love are just a few of the qualities that make me believe that god made you just for me. Over the past 5 years I have watched you become wonderful parent, and be the best husband I could have ever have wished for. I feel blessed to have you as part of my family.


No matter what life has in store for us, weather it’s good or bad I want to share it all with you. Together will get through anything.

I don’t take my commitment to you lightly, I have never been surer of anything in my life, as I am my love for you.

So, Joseph, today in front of our family, friends, and god, I promise to love you with all the love that I have to give. To support you in everything that comes your way, to never judge you, and to accept you just as you are. I will comfort and encourage you and help you be the best person you can be. I will be by your side, building a life with you that is based on love, honesty, friendship, kindness and support.
And when the day comes when my life is over, I will be able to say with all honesty that I have no regrets that I shared it all with you.
